To ensure the safety, security, and wellbeing of children in our care, SABIS® Preschool Adma enforces a number of procedures and health and safety standards. These precautions range from arrival and dismissal procedures, to equipment and furniture safety, as well as medical standards.
All health and safety measures are reviewed periodically to remain up to date with latest safety and security technologies and practices.
SABIS® Preschool Adma is protected by a comprehensive security plan. To ensure safety, children are released only to adults who have been authorized for pick-up by the parents. The authorization is in writing and includes picture identification. Anyone picking up a child must show proper identification before a child may be released.
A file of names, addresses, and phone numbers of all authorized persons in the case of an emergency is also kept. This file is based on information provided on enrolment forms. There is no limit to the number of persons authorized, but ID will be requested. Written notification to the Coordinator is required in the case of any change.
All information in the child's file is treated with the utmost confidentiality at all times.
Arrival
Our SABIS® Preschool day starts at 7:30 a.m. and ends at 1:30 p.m. and can be extended until 3:30 p.m. from Monday till Friday. The daily routine followed in the preschool helps children feel at ease.
Dismissal
If, for any reason, you know you are going to be more than five minutes late, you are kindly requested to notify the coordinator. If any other person is coming to pick up your child, you will also need to inform the coordinator. Please note that the person you identify to pick up your child has to be a person mentioned on the “Dismissal Form” that you completed when registering your child.
Important Notice
No child will be released to any person other than his/her parent unless that person’s name and picture are included in the child’s dismissal form.
At SABIS® Preschool Adma all classrooms are furnished with child-friendly furniture in order to ensure the safety of our preschoolers.
Preschool classrooms are equipped with child-sized tables and chairs, which are sturdy and engineered to not tip over. We also make sure that toys and learning areas are neatly arranged, with no sharp corners that could potentially cause harm. All equipment is checked on a regular basis to ensure it is in good working order and broken or unsafe equipment is repaired/replaced immediately.
The lobby entrance to the preschool is separated from the actual classrooms for security reasons.
All visitors are initially requested to wait in the lobby outside the coordinator's office to gain entry.
We maintain a complete written record for each child. Pertinent health histories (such as allergies, chronic conditions, or susceptibilities) are also required. All health records, immunization records, and emergency contacts are kept up-to-date and are easily accessible in case of emergency.
The preschool cares about your child’s health and development. We provide well-balanced meals that are planned by a nutritionist. The meals are healthy, tasty, and nut-free. All meals meet nutritional standards and are served in a careful and hygienic manner.
We request that you not to send with your child chocolate, candy, or any food which is not beneficial to their health.
